Hello friends! Right now, I’m heading up to Gainesville, GA to launch on the world race! It is so overwhelming and surreal, and I’m so, SO thankful for your love, prayers, and support. I just wanted to give you guys a few updates, and let you know how I’m feeling and what I need prayer for. 🙂
A few pieces of amazing news to start off. One, I’m 95% funded! Fundraising has been one of the most humbling endeavors with God, because it truly wasn’t by my works. He brought all the right people, at all the right times, and although I definitely did stress at times, I never had to. I saw His faithfulness to provide, and his will unfold in miraculous ways while fundraising. Thank you guys so SO much for saying yes to being a part of this and walking alongside me. It’s so crazy and overwhelming, and I have so much peace and comfort in all your support.
Also, we know where in Costa Rica we will be staying, and who our ministry partner is! My team and I will be in Jaco, serving with Oceans Edge ministry! Some areas we may get to serve in are children’s ministry, business as ministry class, light construction, art/mural ministry, and my favorite, a bi-weekly surf club ministry! Whaaaat! Can’t wait to see and share what God does in this!
The ”see you laters” have been SO hard, but so beautiful, because I am overwhelmingly thankful that God has given me these people who make leaving so. dang. hard. I would really appreciate prayers for my heart, and the hearts of my family and friends who are at home.
There are a lot of feelings, and it would be really easy to get caught up in them, and miss just how amazing this all is. I would SO appreciate prayers for my mind, against doubt and fear taking hold, and that I would really surrender to God and be all here like I’m supposed to.
Thank you for being on this journey with me. It’s really starting, and through all the mixed emotions, I’m so thankful for all the prayer, love, and support. 🙂
