Hello from Jaco! I’m way too excited about the fact that this is the FIRST TIME I get to change the location of my blog to a different country!!

This is our third day here, and it is beautiful, and incredible, and I already have so many moments and feelings unprocessed because of how crazy this all is.

Over the past few days, I have had a few super sweet moments with God, and my friends, that I would love to share with you.

Yesterday, I got to rest in the beauty of a Costa Rican beach in the company of some AMAZING friends.

I’ve already had my fair share of Costa Rican coffee, (SO GOOD) and found this awesome cafe right by where we’re staying.

I spent most of today helping paint a wall, in our hosts beautiful property where pretty much every wall is a mural. (I can’t take any credit for doing the art though.)

It is HOT here, by the way. I’ve been covered in sweat all day every day, and I’m not even mad about it. Just to invite you into the life a little 🙂

I’ve gotten to have some deep and vulnerable talks with friends, really experiencing God’s love, power, and truth in community.

God gave the two sweetest worship moments with my friends. One was in the airport, right before we left the country, which I think is so cool. He was just right there, and calmed all my nerves through some beautiful music.

The next was our first morning here, which I would describe as an explosion of joy and power. It was also such a special moment for me, because I got to lead with a squad mate, and step into worship as God’s been calling me to, pouring into me, and speaking to me about for so long.

As I’m processing and reflecting on all these things, I’m realizing these moments go fast, and I want to be all there. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed and distracted living in a new country, being around people you’re just getting to know 24/7, and stepping into all kinds of crazy things you’ve never done before.

I’m looking at these beautiful moments and thinking, I just pray to be all here, no matter what reasons I have not to be.

These little things are what life is about, and I don’t want to miss it in any way.

And I can’t believe this is just the beginning!

Thank you friends for checking in and keeping us in your prayers, & I can’t wait to continue to share in all that God has this year with you! 🙂

Worship is a wonderful way to set the platform for the presence of the Lord. You and your team is off to a great start as you invite Father into all that will follow. May He remain at the centre of your year.
